Nakano Broadway
Nakano Broadway is a pop culture shopping mall catering solely to "Otaku" - obsessively minded fans. Once you enter the mall, a mish-mash of specialty stores offer tons of otaku gears - figures, games, comics, DVD, army wears, idol posters, and cosplay wears. The 4-floor mall is filled with more than 300 stores and restaurants and the home of famous "Mandarake" - Tokyo's largest vendors of used anime goods and comics - really worth watching.

Nakano Broadway
Harajuku
With plenty of stores selling teenager's fashion, cute and weird things, and so much more! The crazy fashion still exists here at the 350M long Takesita Dori(street), enthralling a wanna-be witch in Gothic Lolita fashion. You would see the most astonishing outfits like costumes, and it really personified the energetic, unique aspect of Tokyo. Omotesando street also gives you attractions with a "museum of buildings" which are designed by renowned architects.
Harajuku
Akihabara
Akihabara is known as Electric town, and is also called Japan's pop culture center. Akihabara is a bit different from other shopping districts; the town has more specialty stores that cater to enthusiastic fans. The fans include audio fans, PC fans, animation fans, comic fans, comic character fans, video games fans.
Now the pop culture stores are more dominant than electrical stores. Still this is one of the best places to buy electrical appliances, especially PC parts and related gadgets.
Akihabara
Ameyoko market
The bustling market alongside the JR rail line has anything from sweets, fashion, shoes, bags and especially jewelry with reasonable prices. Walking on the street, suddenly you may be encouraged to buy more chocolates at popular local bonbonniere. Ameyoko is linked to 2K540 street, which has various designer's shops. The products here adopt a more modern design but it still preserves the taste of traditional Japanese technique.
Ameyoko
Ueno
Ueno is one of the best places in Tokyo to wonder around. After the long street of Ameyoko, you can take a rest at pleasant and beautiful Ueno Park. The park contains outstanding museums including National Museum. Or if you make a little side trip to "Shitamachi" area, you would feel traditional atmosphere with old shrines, temples and shops. The Ueno park is famous as the site for cherry-blossom viewing (Hanami) in April.
